Light in the Dark is a Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg student project. A stop motion short movie about a paper figure looking for her soulmate. My role was the foley artist and music composer.
Alone.Together - A collaboration with Lea Friedrich, director student at the Film Arche Berlin. My contribution consisted of a cello part, synthesizer ambience and a piano composition for the outtro.
A Sounddesign and music collaboration with Adrian Pourvisehs illustrations about his experiences aboard the rescue ship Sea Watch 3 on the refugee route at the mediterranean sea as a media coordinator.
Preceeding the report Adrian Pourviseh pulled off a successful fundraising for his graphic novel project "Das Schimmern der See" at StartNext. I supported him with a piano composition.
Another collaboration with Lea Friedrich, a director student at the Film Arche in Berlin. Here I composed original music in the style of Yann Tierssen and parts inspired by Arvo Pärt.
Recording, producing and collaborating on keyboard with the singer songwriter and guitarist Viola Schäfer for her original songs.
Children of Begoro was a photo exhibition project with my fellow student Adina Asbeck. She visited a friends orphanage project in Ghana where she shared a daily life with the children and workers. The exhibition shows her numerous experiences, which challenge Eurocentric thinking habits and expectations about Ghana and its people.
The project was a fruitful collaboration between Adina´s photography and my ambient music to create an immersive exhibition experience. It took place first in the main library of Philipps University of Marburg and later in an art gallery in Göteborg, Sweden, where the orphanage initiator resides.
Op-Doc directed, shot and produced by Julie Bourdin, and published on Brush&Bow. Based on interviews taken in 2019 in Lesvos, Greece, the film is an ode to the small village of Skala Sikamineas on the Northern coast of the island. I contributed with subtle guitar playing to accompany the story telling.
